St. Enda's Senior Ladies Result: NE 3:10 TO 3:5 Lamh Dhearg.
Unbeaten run for Senior Ladies continues to 6 and also extended their lead at top of table further, with another hard fought win against 2nd place Lamh Dhearg. A very tight game in poor conditions, the girls did very well and showed great character against a good Lamh Dhearg side.
Also big thank you to Áine Walsh who played her last game tonight before her move to London tomorrow, a valuable player and will be missed.
Scorers: Bronagh Meighan (1:4), Aoife McCullough (2:2), Maeve Higgins (0:1), Niamh Morgan (0:1), Eilis Crickard (0:1) Aine Walsh (0:1).

Naomh Éanna is a Host Club for Féile na nGael 2014. We are hosting a hurling Club from Cork – we are still waiting confirmation of what Club it is. There are 55 host hurling clubs throughout Ulster. Each club provides 15 Host Families in order to host a team for the Feile. A Host Family looks after two team members for two nights. We already have our Host Families in place but there will be much more to organise and we will need a lot of members to volunteer.

Féile na nGael is the GAA National Under 14 festival of hurling and camogie and, for the first time ever, Ulster is hosting the Féile na nGael. It takes place from Friday 20th June to Sunday 22nd June. The competition is sponsored by Bus Éireann. The opening ceremonies are at the Derry Centre of Excellence in Owenbeg and the Armagh Athletic Grounds on Friday 20th. There will be group games at all Host Clubs over the Friday and Saturday and the Finals are on Sunday at and the Tyrone Centre of Excellence at Garvaghy and at Owenbeg. St. Endas are competing in Division 3.

Each year as many as 25,000 children and parents from all 32 counties travel to Féile na nGael. Since 1971 over one million boys and girls have participated in this great festival. Féile has the primary objective of facilitating and enabling the personal, social and cultural development of young people. It also emphasises cultural and community activities, leadership and training through sport. It is recognised by the GAA as a major festival of great importance for the promotion of gaelic games among the youth of our country.

UNDER 6 HURLING BLITZ THIS SATURDAY. The indoor sessions at St Malachy's are over for the year and we now move outside. This Saturday we have been invited to take part in a blitz at the Grosvenor Leisure complex at the bottom of the Grosvenor Road for under 6's (p1's and p2's). Davitts and Sarsfields will also be in attendance. As such there is no training at the club this Saturday for under 6's. We ask parents to be at the Grosvenor complex at 1315 and also to request that your young hurler is turned out in a St Enda's jersey (if possible - don't rush out and buy one!) The blitz will be over by 1430. The Giro road closures does not affect us. We will have two teams of 7 and can roll players on and off and all players will get game time. Could you confirm if your son is able to attend so we have an idea of numbers attending. All parents registered should have received a text also - if you didnt get a text, please text me with your updated number to 07976070036 Thanks again for your continued support.

The St Enda's cyclists would like to thank Denis O'Kane (OK Windows) for his continuous support of the annual charity cycle.
Without his support and the use of his van as a support vehicle the event would be very difficult to complete.
